Megan Dodson joined the St. Mary's staff in August of 2006 as the assistant aquatics director, helping to manage the ARC Aquatics Center.

In her position as assistant aquatics director, Dodson supervises and trains lifeguards as well as water safety instructors. She develops and oversees aquatic programs, while also teaching two credit courses per academic year for SMCM students.

Dodson has been teaching American Red Cross courses as needed at the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) since June of 2005.

She is a St. Mary's alumna who graduated in 2005 with a bachelors of arts degree in psychology with a concentration in neuroscience. Dodson is currently working toward her associate of applied science in emergency medical services at CSM and will complete her program in May of 2008.

Because of her coursework at CSM and her time with the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad, Dodson hold certifications in several areas such as Maryland cardiac rescue and advanced cardiac life support; basic trauma life support; and CPR/First Aid/AED.

She currently lives in Great Mills, Maryland with her husband, AJ.
