HOMECOMING 2007
October 12-14
What is the “Seahawks Association”?
The
Seahawks Association is St. Mary’s College of Maryland’s varsity athletics booster
club. It is designed to promote and support varsity athletic programs at
the College in many different ways.
What does the Seahawks Association do?
The Seahawks Association organizes alumni and parent events at Seahawk home
and away contests, helps to raise funds for the athletic programs, and
works to keep all Seahawk fans informed about the St. Mary’s athletic
teams such as sponsoring the annual Homecoming Weekend.
Homecoming
weekend is the only major athletics-related event for alumni during the
academic year at St. Mary’s. The weekend includes varsity and alumni
athletics contests, the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony and banquet (every
"even" year), and receptions for Seahawk alumni and parents.
Who
can belong?
Membership in
the Seahawks Association is open to anyone interested in Seahawk athletics,
including alumni, parents of present and former athletes, and other
interested alumni and friends.
What does membership require?
Members in
the Seahawks Association make an annual donation. After that, it is up to each individual member the level of personal
involvement he or she would like to pursue. See below for more information
on how you can get involved.
How do I get
