SMCM's home contest against Randolph-Macon College scheduled for today has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. Seahawk Women’s Lacrosse Game at Randolph-Macon Postponed

St. Mary’s City, Md. – Carol Schmoeller, the head women’s lacrosse coach at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, announced today that the Seahawks’ non-conference road contest at Randolph-Macon College has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Randolph-Macon. The game will be rescheduled but no date has been picked as of yet. There is a possibility that the venue of the contest will change to Seahawk Stadium on the St. Mary’s campus whenever a make-up date is chosen.

St. Mary’s City, Md. – Lew Jenkins, head coach of the St. Mary’s College of Maryland baseball team, announced changes to this week’s playing schedule due to this past weekend’s rainy weather. The Seahawks will complete their doubleheader with No. 6 Salisbury tomorrow, April 8 at 1:00 at the Hawk’s Nest. The doubleheader was called yesterday in the third inning of the first game because of rain. Tomorrow’s match-up will pick up where the teams left off on Sunday. Because of having to reschedule Salisbury, Tuesday’s originally scheduled match-up with Gallaudet University has been pushed back to Wednesday, April 9 at 4:00 at the Hawk’s Nest.
